THE COWBOY ARTIST Angela Elledge
8x10 oil on canvas
Several years ago we met this artist at McKinney's Art Walk. In addition to his cowboy attire, he also had his horse with him. Look for more art about this fella, I feel as though he should be a series of paintings.
He looks comfortable waiting for a sale. Good job catching the light. I especially like his hat and boots. Looking forward to seeing more in this series. :-)
Angela, love your figurative work. The way you captured his pose and the art show scene is representative of all the art events we've attended. We'll expect your cowboy to pop up in more of your paintings!
Great job on this, Angela! I love his cowboy posture. He looks as relaxed as if he were sitting on his own porch admiring the pastures instead of sitting in the sun at an art show. I'm sure he's there in his mind.
