I hope these primroses qualify me for the February "flower" theme. I greatly admire my fellow artists who paint flowers so beautifully. I attempt it faithfully about twice a year - and always when the little pots of primroses arrive at the grocery store. Click here to see last year's variety. 1. Mitzi, I'm so glad you posted this painting for the flower theme! I love this entire shelf series you are doing, it's a great idea and a wonderful way for you to share what's special and dear to you. I, too, am in awe of those floral secialists out there; I've never painted a flower, so this theme is very challenging to me...who knows what I'll come up with.

  2. What a wonderful composition and yes, I think these lovely primroses "qualify" for sure!

  3. Ah Mitzi - I absolutely adore this painting. Wow, what beautiful, juicy color. Excellent work!

  4. Flowers are a challenge for me, too! This certainly doesn't look like it was a challenge for you - it's beautiful! I love your shelf series, too. Well done!

  5. such a nice primrose, Mitzi, very fresh -
