The tractor is probably one of the most important tools of farming. This one had been put "out to pasture" after it had served it's usefulness. Painted from a photograph taken in the Texas Hill Country.
We're a small group of Texas artists with diverse interests, but one thing we all have in common is the love of painting. Please consider following us as we post our monthly challenges for your viewing pleasure.
The turquoise color in the tractor is really beautiful! It's really wonderful with the orange. Great addition to the challenge!
ReplyDeleteA tool with such a great personality!! Love the rusty turquoise and orange wheels against the pale yellow/green background . . . and congratulations on the sale!
ReplyDeleteI, too, love the turquoise and orange combination in your beautiful tractor. I also like that word: sold!
ReplyDeleteThat looks like Jack's old tractor, except his wasn't that pretty (it was grey and red). I like your colors much better! But those old tractors make great subject matter - so much character. Good job, Ann
ReplyDeleteOh Ann, I love your tractor! Great color choices
ReplyDeleteWow Ann, a beautiful, moody painting! and it brings back so many childhood memories for me. : )
