Farm Tool!
Two years ago the whole studio went to John Martin's farm in south Texas. This is the result of my first attempt at plein air painting. Lots of fun, good company and good painting! This big green John Deer tractor is a tool that a farm can't do without!
I kid you not, I have an old photo of a tractor I wanted to try painting for this theme, back to the drawing board for me! Isn't plein air painting fun? You must come out with us and paint some time, very nice painting and a great idea for the tool theme! :-)
Beautiful, Carol, can't believe this is your first plein air...you must be a natural, well done!

ReplyDeleteCarol, That was a great trip...I KNOW I was there, so how did I not see this painting? It's wonderful!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a nice landscape . . . love how freely you handled it and the tractor. I love the big yellow wheel!
