"Out to Pasture" by Ann Rogers

8 x 10
oil on stretched canvas

The tractor is probably one of the most important tools of farming. This one had been put "out to pasture" after it had served it's usefulness. Painted from a photograph taken in the Texas Hill Country.

  1. The turquoise color in the tractor is really beautiful! It's really wonderful with the orange. Great addition to the challenge!

  2. A tool with such a great personality!! Love the rusty turquoise and orange wheels against the pale yellow/green background . . . and congratulations on the sale!

  4. That looks like Jack's old tractor, except his wasn't that pretty (it was grey and red). I like your colors much better! But those old tractors make great subject matter - so much character. Good job, Ann
