Blue Bonnets by Kay Wyne

Blue Bonnets
24" x 24" Oil on Canvas
This painting was my first blue bonnet painting....and probably my last....OMG...those flowers take so long to paint! But, I did learn alot from this painting. Today is September 1st, and our new theme is Blue, Blue, My World Is Blue....well, since blue is my favorite color and I put blue in almost all of my paintings, I hope to post alot this month. This painting is for sale...contact Kay at kay@kwyne.com for more information. Thanks for viewing this blog...Kay

  3. I've lived in Texas five years and so far have resisted painting bluebonnets. I knew there was a reason. Thanks to your comment, now I know what it is! :)

  5. Very lovely! It is so nice to see a variation of the traditional bluebonnet painting compositions. Let's hope we are seeing many blue fields like this in the spring.
