Winter Primrose by Jean Townsend
It is a happy thing to do flowers in this arctic month.
I had never really paid attention to primroses until a very dear friend introduced them to me as his favorite flowers. I lost that very dear friend many years ago and can't help but think of him and be reminded of his love for these simple little flowers and their bold foliage. Thanks for the memories in your beautiful painting!
So beautiful Jean! I also love primroses and they are the earliest harbingers of Spring. We need some life and color after this past January! Thanks for keeping my spirits up with your bright primroses!
How beautiful, a real promise of Spring to come!
